annual raffle - general operations campaign
Each year SARA sponsors a raffle. The $20,000.00 proceeds goes into our general operating fund for the new year.

Only 300 tickets are sold at $100.00 apiece. SARA receives $20,000.00 and the winner receives $10,000.00. The odds are one in 300 to win 10K! Purchase more than one ticket and increase your chances of winning. Even better, the $100.00 "donation" can be taken as a tax deduction for those who don't win.

Tickets can be purchased ANY TIME throughout the year, so buy yours now!

tree of life program
We need trees planted to provide shade for our animals in the brutal summer. Our Tree of Life program serves as a wonderful tribute for hundreds of years to come, helps out our animals and beautifies the environement.

$300.00 plants a beautiful Red Oak. The "tribute" can be anything you like, for a memorial, honoring someone's birthday, a holiday gift or anniversary.

quarterly printed newsletter
We need individuals to underwrite the cost of our quarterly printed newsletter, which runs about $5,000.00 every quarter (the cost of creation, printing and mailing).

We are hoping to find 50 people to donate $100.00 toward the cost of this communication piece to our loyal supporters. Can you help?

outreach campaign
Did you know that 80% of a non-profit's income comes from 20% of its donors? SARA needs to reach more people. Our goal is to raise $15,000 for a mailer targeted to animal lovers. We cannot increase our outreach until we meet this goal. Can you help? Recommended donation is $50.00 or more.
