SARA Sanctuary

overview
The permanent cats at SARA are typically either feral cats that will never make suitable pets or they suffer from feline leukemia or FIV, and therefore require special attention and medication. However, all are unique with special quirks and hang ups, and names which reflect their personalities. While we do help find some of them new homes (see our adoption section), at least 50 will live at SARA for the remainder of their lives and are seeking sponsorship. Here are a special few.

Rob: is the sweetest cat you'll ever meet- a great big fluffy black male who literally hugs you whenever you visit him. He is approximately 7 years old and has Feline Leukemia. He is currently in very good health and very happy.

Spooky: Although her name is a little scary, she's not! Spooky is a feral, spayed domestic shorthair, brown tabby who is about 6 years old.
