We have a busy spring ahead with visits from several large university intern programs, such as Vanderbilt University, Indiana State University, The University of Texas in Dallas, and Howard Community College. 1st Annual People and Their Pets Fundraiser Was A Great Success! SARA Sanctuary thanks all the volunteers and supporters that came out recently to the fundraiser, held at the Witte Museum to raise funds for the daily medical and upkeep care of the animals at the sanctuary. We had a very successful silent auction, a fashion show put on by the fashion department at The University of Incarnate Word, a live auctioneer, and everyone got to meet the SARA volunteers that work to make it happen.
