Volunteer Orientation

If you’ve been looking for a sign to stop watching and start helping, this is it! Join us for our monthly Volunteer Orientation to find out how you can make a hands-on difference for the 750+ rescue animals who call SARA Sanctuary home.

During this orientation, you will:

• Tour the sanctuary grounds and meet our resident animals.

• Learn how we operate behind the gates and understand our safety protocols.

• Explore available volunteer roles, including Animal Care Assistants, Dog Walkers, Cat Socializers, and Maintenance Support.

What to Bring: Please wear closed-toe, sturdy shoes (expect to get a little dirty!) and a willingness to learn. Beverages will be provided.
